Why do I need X-ray?

X-rays are a form of radiant energy, like light or radio waves. Unlike light, x-rays can penetrate the body, which allows a radiologist to produce pictures of internal structures.

X-ray examinations provide valuable information about your denture and play an important role in helping your dentist make an accurate diagnosis.

Panoramic X-ray

It is a panoramic scanning dental X-ray of the upper and lower jaw. It shows a two-dimensional view of a half-circle from ear to ear. Also known as an orthopantomogram (OPG), "orthopantogram" or "panorex".

If you wish to have a dental quote, send us your panoramic X-ray and a description of the treatment desired and your expectations. We will send back our reply with the proposed treatment plan and a dental quote for you.

If you do not have a panoramic X-ray of your teeth, you can easily have one (e.g. at the nearest orthodontist's office).
